Starrett HDV500 Profile Projector
The HDV500 digital CNC video comparator combines the best features of a large, floor-standing, horizontal optical profile projector with a vision measurement system.
The HDV500 features a long 500 x 200 mm X-Y stage and a robust steel construction. The measuring stage is the same as those used on the popular HF600 and HF750 models. At the heart of the HDV system is a unique, patented interchangeable lens mounting system for a high-resolution 5-megapixel digital video camera. The HDV500 is available with three telecentric lenses, enabling micron-level resolution and accurate field of view (FOV) measurements.
Metlogix™ M3 software allows DXF CAD files to be imported and digital overlays to be developed directly from the CAD files. Video Edge Detection (VED) enables real-time interaction between the imported file and the video image of the part being inspected.
