The company was originally founded in 1963 under the name Eisinger Messtechnik. From the very beginning, the manufacturing and distribution of reliable dimensional metrology tools were at the core of the company’s philosophy. An important milestone followed in 1965 with the representation of Mitutoyo, a partnership with a brand that still stands for the highest quality standards today.

In 1990, HITEC Messtechnik GmbH was founded in Leonberg near Stuttgart, laying the foundation for today’s company structure. With the continuous expansion of our product and service portfolio, our company’s technological expertise also grew. Another significant step followed in 2005 with the establishment of a second location in Niedernhall and the further development of the optical measurement technology sector.

In 2018, HITEC Messtechnik presented itself with a new corporate design and a new, expanded overall catalog for dimensional metrology. To accommodate further growth, a new building was constructed and the company relocated to Niedernhall-Waldzimmern in 2021, where all company divisions were consolidated. With the new website and the 2026 overall catalog, HITEC Messtechnik focuses on a broad product range, digital development, and customer orientation.
